The Foundations of European Community Law

This edition of Trevor Hartley's introduction to the legal framework and institutions of the European Community has been completely revised to take account of the major changes which have occurred since 1988, including the establishment of a Court of First Instance and the conclusion of the Maastricht Treaty on European Union. This is a standard text for undergraduate law students studying EC law. It covers half of the EC law syllabus, and in many cases can be used as the text for an entire one-year course.
