Description
Have you ever experienced a situation in life that snatched you from familiar surroundings and left you feeling as if you were drifting in the wind? If so, this story is just for you. "A Leaf in the Wind" is a story in rhyme about the whimsical adventures of a simple leaf shaken from his beloved tree. Throughout his adventurous journeys, he learns to rise above his unusual circumstances by embracing many valuable lessons about purpose, prejudice, survival, thanksgiving, trust, friendship, and forgiveness. By reading this book, you will learn valuable life lessons from this simple leaf on how to rise above your current circumstance by reflecting on past triumphs, receiving wise instruction, reconnecting with your foundation, restoring your faith in God, and renewing your commitments. The end of the book provides a list of study questions and Bible verses to aid you through your personal wind storm. Lillian Hart has served as a music educator in the state of Arkansas for the past 19 years. She is a 1984 graduate of Osceola High School in Osceola, Arkansas and 1989 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. She is the daughter of Lula R. Jones and the late Howard Jones, both of Osceola. Currently, she is the high school band director at McClellan High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Outside of teaching music, her favorite hobby is creative writing. She enjoys writing poetry, short stories, and Bible studies to encourage others in their Christian walk. "A Leaf in the Wind" will be the first published book to her credit. By sharing her personal experiences, Lillian's life's mission is to offer hope to all individuals by encouraging them to believe that they too can survive any life storm and ultimately reach their destiny.
