Song of Destiny

Ellie started working at the aristocratic Grandfield Estate, as a scullery maid, when the daughter of Tibby, the house steward, tragically dies. Ellie has always been the carer in her family so when WWI breaks out it is only natural that she sets aside her dreams of singing to begin nursing. Ellie is refused overseas service, and after Grandfield is seconded as a war hospital for recuperating soldiers, she begins nursing the residents there. How does Ellie navigate the pain of her world to find the music in her heart that she is destined to sing?
