Roy Harris is a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, an educator and published author. He faithfully stood by his wife of 33 years Diana through their three-year battle with breast cancer that eventually took her life. Roy has successfully with God's help, moved through those difficult days and not only survived but is doing well. God had a plan for Roy's life that included living beyond his grief. God brought a wonderful rainbow named Amy into his life that became his best friend, partner in ministry and helpmate. Roy couldn't have imagined the great things God had in store for him in his future after grief. He came to understand that nothing takes God by surprise. That everything that happens to God's children is always for their good and His glory. Roy holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Ministry degrees from Welch College and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Trinity Theological Seminary. He's spoken in over 400 churches, civic organizations, educational institutions, and other venues. He's a minister, conference, seminar and retreat speaker having spoken in 38 US states, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Europe and Israel. Roy is and published author with 14 books in print including four in Swahili.
