Dedicated chapters examine ethics and professionalism, the role of the health education specialist, the improvement of health promotion through cultural competence, and various career venues related to health promotion and wellness.
Helpful appendices provide students with the Code of Ethics for the Health Education Profession Preamble and a link to a review of the areas of responsibility, competencies, and sub-competencies for Health Education Specialist Practice Analysis II 2020 (HESPA II 2020).
