His parents were advised to place him in an institution. Today Terry has a Masters Degree in Counselling, is an advocate for families impacted by incarceration, is a motivational speaker, broadcaster and author. Terry credits all of his accomplishments to a loving God, supportive family and a special group of people he calls, "Master Encouragers." Terry and his wife Dawn live in Kingston, Ontario.
