Starting Home Economics Assignments

These worksheets have been produced to support the "Starting Home Economics" series and each text is supported by teachers' notes. The material aims to encourage active learning, whilst extending the pupils' knowledge and skills, in order to achieve a progression of learning. It is also designed to encourage transfer of learning from Food Studies to Homes Studies, to provide opportunities for pupils to gain experience of GCSE themes and their inter-relationships and to provide pupils with experience of a range of skills that will be needed for GCSE courses.
