Daria Harper is a writer and editor who has worked in children's publishing for more than a decade. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she now lives in Oakland, California, with her partner.
Denise Holmes is an illustrator based in Chicago, where she lives with her husband and daughter. Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, she moved to Chicago to study at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. She has illustrated over twenty children’s picture books and creates artwork for magazines, greeting cards, and home goods. Her colorful, playful illustrations are inspired by a love of vintage treasures, childhood memories, and the humor and wonder of everyday life.
