Designed to aid the teaching of Arabic grammar, this book also serves as the basis for classical Arabic conversation. It is divided into numerous lessons and exercises covering all the basic principles of Arabic grammar, and constantly integrating oral work. The oral drill method may be applied to supplement the grammatical rules that the teacher wishes to emphasize. The appendix includes conversations and a list of useful oral expressions. There are a great variety of exercises, and new grammatical features are introduced gradually with a step-by-step approach.
