Memory and Desire

Two worlds are brought into collision when a member of a rich and exotic dynasty brings her husband home. He is illegitimate and poor, and the relationship uncovers a dormant volcano of buried memories and secret desires that threatens to engulf the family, and eventually to destroy the dynasty.
