Ania Simeone is a freelance children's illustrator based in Sopot, Poland. She graduated in Literature in Gdansk and spent 10 years in Italy before coming back to her hometown with her husband, daughter and dog, Leo. She has illustrated children's books for publishing companies from Poland, Italy, France and the UK. In her illustrations she tries to capture happy moments, curious and funny glimpses of everyday life. Her vibrant colour palettes are inspired by what surrounds her - seasonal vegetables and flowers, secondhand porcelain, her dog's fur. She works both with traditional techniques (coloured pencils and watercolours) and with digital art softwares.
