Hell's Back Door

Stark City was a hell-hole of a prison set amongst countless miles of desert and run like a feudal strongfold by the vicious Captain Hector Stark. And amongst a motley bunch of murderers and criminals of every kind there was the legendary Clay Dackin, an educated man but reputedly a cold-eyed killer. No prisoners had ever escaped and survived but Clay was determined to break the pattern and gathered a formidable bunch of men around him. But could they escape and even if they succeeded, could they beat the relentless desert? Or would Clay, like an earlier prisoner, end up with his head stuffed as the Captain's trophy? Only time would tell.
