Born in Brooklyn, New York to Arab immigrant parents, Malek grew up navigating cultural contrasts, spiritual longing, and creative fire. As a child, he served as an altar boy, and years later, experienced a humbling moment of grace when he was blessed by the Pope after singing at the Vatican.
