With a background in illustration and graphic design, R.J. Hampson brings a unique blend of creative thought to his work in both traditional and digital media but is happiest when he tells a story. Originally known as the author and illustrator of the Bunyip Tree series of children's books, in 2020, Russell decided to release some of his more fanciful illustrations as a series of coloring books. "Adding color to my illustrations is so much fun. I wanted to share the joy of this almost meditative experience and launched the R.J.Hampson series of coloring books. Whether you enjoy coloring quirky buildings, manic machines, moonlit gardens, or underwater scenes, there is something for everyone in these books." Today, Russell draws and writes in his studio on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, where the beach calls to him along with the parrots. You can find out more, as well as watch flip-throughs for all books and download free coloring sheets at rjhampson.com
