Description
"We want a pet! We want a pet!" chant the kids.
"No! We will not let you have a pet. We are dead set against a pet!" say the parents.
And so the battle lines are drawn -- can the kids convince the parents?
As they lie in the grass watching bugs and beetles, watching little legs and eyes,
watching ladybirds, spiders and flies, suddenly they realise these will be their pets!!
Complete mayhem follows as the kids bring their gross, slimy, leggy, hairy 'pets' inside . . .

Reviews / Votes
There is so much potential to have fun here with the words, rhythm and rhyme, and as such this is an ideal story to read aloud. The animated illustrations are a joy; colourful and bold with some wonderfully vivid expressions on the faces of parents, children and wannabe pets. -- Elaine Chant * Carousel *More details
