Oak Tree likes where he lives but he hasn't made any friends. There are other trees on the property, but they are far away. They have a lot of birds that sing and play around them. But Oak doesn't. He's lonely. Until one day a crow comes to visit and they become friends. Other birds come to join Oak, but they want to leave some of the birds out and not invite them to play. But Oak loves and welcomes all the birdies. Will that love cost Oak his new friends?

Person
Christine Hamilton has been a school teacher for 18 years and is currently a reading interventionist helping young, struggling students find the gift of literacy. She graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. She lives on a small hobby farm in North Texas with her husband of 32 years and all their fur babies. When she isn't working, she enjoys growing a vegetable garden, hiking, photography, helping her husband work on classic trucks and of course, reading. This book was inspired by God's beautiful creation. While observing the birds in her backyard, she couldn't help but notice a lonely tree in the distance. A Tree No Birdie Loved.
