British Commemoratives

This aims to provide a comprehensive study of British memorabilia covering 14 reigns, from Charles II to Queen Elizabeth II. "British Commemoratives" covers all aspects of the commemorative field, including royalty, politics, war and sport and the memorabilia includes, as well as commemorative pottery and porcelain, biscuit and chocolate tins, glass, newspapers and journals and even beer bottles. Colour illustrations and black and white photographs help the collector to identify the items described, some of which are extremely rare while others are popular souvenirs which can be found easily to start a collection. The final chapter contains helpful hints and advice for collectors of commemoratives.
