Lathework

Through the pages of Model Engineers' Workshop magazine, author Harold Hall established a reputation for introducing the novice model engineer to a wide range of machine tool operations. In this book he turns his attention to the metal turning lathe, introducing its use through a carefully chosen series of practical projects.


Lathework assumes no previous experience of using the lathe. Through twelve practical lathe projects, all the necessary techniques are introduced, leading the reader from complete novice to confident lathe operator and giving the confidence necessary to tackle more ambitious projects.
