Business Analytics

This book is a hands-on text that trains the learners in the art and craft of business analytics. Unlike other texts that offer a business version of a standard statistics text, this text and professional book focuses on analytics and offers training in the types of business analytics skills desired by the industry. It makes no attempt to teach, for instance, ANOVA to business analysts since the industry, unlike the academia, does not necessarily desire proficiency in ANOVA or other techniques that might be valuable to social scientists, but lack currency in the world of business.
