Motor Racing

The history of the automobile is linked with that of automobile racing in this chronology of motor sport in all its forms throughout the 20th century. This text contains historic prints, black and white archive and modern colour photographs, statistics and roll calls, maps and circuit diagrams, and a text by two Milan-based auto journalists. Each Formula 1 Grand Prix event is visited - with each circuit described and illustrated, and each race's victor listed - and every famous Formula 1 champion celebrated, decade by decade. The World Rally Championship is also covered event by event, along with the Sports Car Races, which are covered on track and on the road.
