Description
Noah isn't excited about starting a new school...again. But that's just what's happens when his parents relocate to Brenton, New York, home of Trailblazer Elementary, a school that's come enthusiastically recommended by Noah's grandpa.
Noah is confused when he inputs his locker combination, 18-6-2, and lands in 1862 Edinburgh, Scotland, where he comes across a fifteen-year-old Alexander Graham Bell, who will eventually invent the telephone.
Noah goes to Alexander's house to figure out just what happened and how he can get back to present-day New York. But in the meantime, he learns that there's a lot to the young, would-be inventor, including his deaf mother, who Alexander has learned to communicate with, and a love of nature.
Noah doesn't want to leave Alexander, but he must get home. Can the new friends figure out how to get him back?
