TeX and LATeX

TeX is a powerful language for typesetting text, and LATeX provides features for manipulating the content and layout of manuscripts. This book introduces device-independent tools for drawing figures and creating macro programs from within TeX and LATeX. The book provides a 3.5" disk containing two software packages - DraTeX and AlDraTex additionally includes ready-to-use templates for quickly creating a number of standard types of charts and diagrams. A third program - ProTeX - allows readers to use TeX and LATeX as systems that will support literate programming.
