(Ag) 2015 -17, the author has provided a sufficiently critical evolution from which one can deduce that work can potentially produce a significant contribution to the subject area because of dairy farming is an integral part of agriculture and rural women playing a significant role in agriculture and contribute one - third of the labor force required for farming and Animal Husbandry related operation. The study was undertaken to know the extent of participation of rural women in the decision-making process in dairy farming in Surguja Districts of Chhattisgarh. The book is divided into seven parts each part dealing with separate aspects and all these parts have been presented in a logical sequence.

Ankur Gupta is presently working as a Guest lecturer (Agricultural Extension) in CARS, Korea, (IGKV), Baikunthpur, (C.G.). He did B.Sc. (Agril.) Hons. from IGKV, University, Raipur (C.G.), and M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension from Visva-Bharati ( A Central University), Santiniketan (W.B.).His area of research in Dairy Farming and Women Empowerment.
