Control of Wave and Beam PDEs is a concise, self-contained introduction to Riesz bases in Hilbert space and their applications to control systems described by partial differential equations (PDEs). Jun-Min Wang received his Ph.D in applied mathematics from the University of Hong Kong in 2004 and is now a full professor in School of Mathematics and Statistics at the Beijing Institute of Technology. His main research interest is the Riesz basis approach to control of systems described by partial differential equations. He has published nearly 60 peer/reviewed journal papers in the field.
