This volume contains the proceedings of the fourth conference on Parametric Optimization and Related Topics, held in Enschede, The Netherlands, from June 6-9, 1995. Parametric optimization, as a part of mathematical programming, investigates the behaviour of solutions to optimization problems under data perturbations. Properties involved, such as continuity, differentiability, topological stability and structural stability play a fundamental role in a series of further questions that are of interest both from a practical and a theoretical point of view. Many connections with other disciplines of operations research, like stochastic programming, model-building, numerical methods and optimal control, originate from these properties. The presented papers (all refereed) are topical and original studies reflecting recent results in current directions of research in theory and applications.

The Editors: Jürgen Guddat was born in Halle in 1941. Since 1978 he has been ordinary professor of mathematical optimization at the Humboldt-University, Berlin.
Hubertus Th. Jongen was born in Oirsbeek, The Netherlands in 1947. Since 1987 he has been ordinary professor of mathematics at the Aachen University of Technology.
Frantisek Nozicka was born in Liberec in 1918. He has been ordinary professor of mathematics at the Charles University Prague since 1958. From 1966 until 1988 he was guest professor at the Humboldt-University Berlin, where he founded the mathematical optimization school, and was awarded doctor honoris causa.
Georg Still was born in Mülheim in 1951. Since 1990 he has been lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
Frank Twilt was born in The Hague in 1942. Since 1984 he has been associate professor of mathematical optimization at the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
