Lindsey Gardiner says she is just like Poppy - with messy hair and mad about dogs! Lindsey was born and brought up in Dundee, where she did textiles at university. As well as writing and illustrating children's books, Lindsey works as a part time lecturer in Printed Textiles at the University of Dundee and as a freelance textile designer. She has had commissions from places like Habitat and M&S, amongst others.
