A must for the book shelf, an indispensable guide, and highly recommended A thorough and up-to-date work, concentrating mainly on roe, although the principles are the same for all the other five deer species... it makes a good read for a winter's evening and is an attractive glossy book with excellent photographs... an inspirational Christmas present for anyone interested in deer management. Dominic qualified in land management at the The Royal Agricultural College (RAC) and has been involved in Deer and Estate Management for almost 30 years. He is a board director of the British Deer Society (BDS), of the Deer Initiative (DI) and of Deer Management Qualifications (DMQ). He was a founder member of the UK Association of Professional Deer Managers (UKAPDM) and has been involved in deer management training at all levels for many years. He is the author of 3 books on Deer Management and has a track record of delivering high quality and successful deer management advice to many of the most prestigious sporting Estates both in the UK and in Europe.
