TEARS and LAUGHTER is David Griffin's often humorous, sometimes tragic, account of his thirty years as a police officer in North West England. It follows his journey from raw young recruit to experienced senior officer, introducing some of the people he met along the way and describing many of the rewards and frustrations of his chosen career.
