Description
This is a book of 50 or so of the most common presenting symptoms in obstetrics and gynaecology, presented in a problem-based way. The topics have been carefully chosen to cover the vast majority of situations likely to be encountered by the undergraduate - and most importantly - those on which they will be examined. Each topic is introduced by a short case vignette. This is followed by a description of the appropriate clinical examination, diagnostic procedures, treatment and prognosis. It will complement more traditionally organised textbooks, including (among others) "Greer et al's Mosby Color Atlas" and "Textbook of Gynecology" (published in October 2000).
