The Emergency Room

The purpose of this book is to help parents understand more about common medical conditions that affect their children. This book explains in detail the background, signs and symptoms, and management of several common medical conditions that affect children. These conditions include fever, vomiting and diarrhea, coughs/colds and sinus infections, ear infections, head injuries, bronchiolitis (and RSV), abdominal pain and constipation, croup, and influenza. The book also reviews when parents should be concerned with regard to these conditions and when children should be seen by their doctor or in the emergency room.
