QBase Surgery: Volume 2, MCQs in Basic Science for Surgeons

Basic science subjects such as anatomy and applied physiology often present surgeons in training with their most difficult challenge in an MCQ examination situation, several years having passed since these subjects were studied in detail in medical school. This book and CD-ROM package provides 250 MCQs, covering all aspects of basic science that the trainee surgeon WILL be asked about in their examinations, each question being presented with explanatory model answers and, where appropriate, simple line diagrams to help illustrate key concepts. The free QBase CD-ROM provided with the book allows the user to sit the pre-set exams as printed in the book, or to create their own exams using questions drawn from the total pool available on the CD-ROM. The program can either generate these exams randomly, or the user can select any number of questions in any subject area, to create their very own exam.
