Born in the north-east, Robson Green decided to be an actor after working as a draughtsman. His first major role was in Casualty. This was followed by Soldier Solider, which made him a household name and a popstar, when he and his co-star Jerome Flynn released 'Unchained Melody,' selling nearly 2 million copies. He has since played the lead in many ITV dramas including Wire in the Blood, Christmas Lights, Touching Evil and Grafters. A hugely popular television star, he is now able to indulge his passion for fishing in his work, travelling round the world chasing incredible catches for Extreme Fishing.
