Carolyn Gray is a Winnipeg theatre artist, puppeteer, playwright, creative writing instructor, and winner of the John Hirsch Award for Most Promising New Writer and the Manitoba Day Award. Her work has been produced by Mantioba Theatre for Young People, zone41 Theatre, the Winnipeg International Children's Festival, and many independent theatre companies. She is particularly interested in magic and mystery, currently working on a new play based on a true Canadian cold case, which of course has magic in it too. This is her first non-fiction book.
