Description
Mathsworks for the CSF P covers the work requirements specified under the CSF for grade 1 in Victoria.The chapters of the book follow the Strands of the CSF with the first substrand for the Space strand being chapter 1, then the first substrand for the Number, Measurement and Chance & Data strands being chapters 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Chapters 5, 6, 7 and 8 are the second substrands for each of the Space, Number, Measurement and Chance & Data Strands respectively. This cycle of chapters is continued throughout the book. Each chapter has an activity for each of the 'Outcome Dot Points' detailed in the CSF.The requirements of the 'Mathematics Tools and Procedures' strand are addressed as interludes or in the context of the chapters detailed above. Each activity carries a 'KidMap' number for easy recording and a student record sheet has been included to plot student progress.
