Editorial Review
S. Peters Davis
This book captured my attention at the Prologue - a historical incident happened in Nairn, Scotland, in 1889. The story takes off from there into the early 1900s to the 1970s, introducing generations of the McKenzie family and showing the details of the areas where they move to in Canada. Lightning strikes become a major reality, weaving through the years of this story. The characters were so pronounced in the life and times of this book that I felt like I stood right beside them, seeing, hearing, and feeling everything with stirring emotions. Impressive, and worth the read.
