Benjamin Graham (8 mayo 1894 - 21 septiembre 1976) fue un economista e inversionista profesional estadounidense de origen britanico. Graham es considerado el padre de la inversion de valor, un enfoque sobre la inversion que comenzo a ensenar en la Escuela de Negocios de Columbia en 1928 y posteriormente fue refinando junto a David Dodd a lo largo de varias ediciones de su famoso libro Security Analysis [Analisis de Seguridad]. Graham hizo muchos discipulos en su vida, algunos de los cuales se convirtieron en inversores exitosos. Entre los mas conocidos estan Warren Buffett, William J. Ruane, Irving Kahn y Walter J. Schloss, entre otros. Buffett, que reconoce a Graham como quien lo afirmo en un solido marco intelectual de inversion, lo describio como la segunda persona mas influyente en su vida luego de su propio padre. En efecto, Graham tuvo tal influencia sobre sus estudiantes que dos de ellos, Buffett y Kahn, les pusieron a sus hijos por nombre Howard Graham Buffett y Thomas Graham Kahn respectivamente. Graham tambien enseno en la Escuela Anderson de Administracion de Empresas de la UCLA.
