Style and Configuration

Style and Configuration concentrates upon the relationship between detail, economy and form in architecture, the stamp of Professor Gowan's innovative buildings which place him in a class of his own. His prolific architectural ventures and achievements are recorded in this volume in the form of a series of articles written by the architect himself. These span the last 25 years and are accompanied by a wealth of illustrations and line drawings, resulting in a book which is both highly informative and rich in visual content.
