Description
Since its introduction, the Skyline GT-R has been the undeniable king of the tuner CAR world. This book explains why. Along with an overview of Skylines since their debut in 1957, Author Alex Gorodji gives in-depth reviews of the last four generations of GT-Rs, including the new-for-2008 V35 the first iteration of the car to be sold in the U.S. Paying special attention to technical aspects such as the all-wheel steering and drive systems, the chassis, and the legendary six-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine, his work explains the GT-R to those who already admire the car, and to those who wonder what the excitement is all about.

Alex Gorodji has worked with Skyline GT-Rs for many years. He has specialized in studying the all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering systems of these cars. While operating his own company, he developed left-hand drive conversions for the various GT-R models. Alexs cars have been displayed at auto shows, exhibitions, and events including the Petersen Automotive Museum, SEMA shows, and the American Le Mans race series. They have also been featured in magazines and on television. Such automotive authorities as Bob Bondurant, Tom Hnatiw, and Rhys Millen have driven Alexs left-hand drive GT-Rs and were very impressed by their performance.
