Hally and McGee alone know of Cimarron rancher Clay Brant's interest in the Box B ranch, and without explaining their secret to Shirley, call upon him for aid. A sworn foe of outlaws, only he could break the power of Sandell and his desperados. But a failed assassination attempt warns the three that someone is watching for him. Keeping his true identity a secret, Brant and the old-timers set out to save the ranch for Shirley and bring her father's murderer to justice.
