Description
The main motivation of this work is to present the component based development methodologies for the web components residing at the presentation tier. Java Enterprise Edition architecture introduced JSF lately, which is a nice move towards the "componentization" of the web applications. Web applications being very interactive, need more focus towards the presentation tier. Through this study we have presented two metamodels: one targeting the existing state of the art, while other is our proposed solution to the optimization of the meta-model for web components.
