Geno isn't scoring goals and the team is falling apart! It's nearly the end of Roddy's first year at Stadium School and Charlton House have the team cup within their grasp. But with just two matches to play, tensions are running high. Geno has hit a dry spell as striker, Keira has lost her way as captain and Roddy is fed up. He thinks he should lead the team now, and only he can bring an end to their losing streak. So why doesn't Geno agree? And could this be the end of their friendship?

Before becoming a full-time writer Cindy Jefferies had a varied career that had nothing to do with writing, including being a Venetian-mask maker and a video DJ. Cindy's first novel, Sebastian's Quest, was published by Barry Cunningham at Chicken House. Now she is best known for her popular series Fame School (Usborne) set at a school for the performing arts. Stadium School is Cindy's first book co-written with her son Seb, who is perhaps even more football-mad than the books' characters. When not thinking about football, Seb plays in an indie band.
