This new book by Michele Gingras is a veritable feast of clarinet-related information....Gingras is a 21st-century clarinet educator of the highest order. She compiles and collates information from a wide range of sources and encourages us to be creatively divergent in our thinking and approach to playing and teaching the clarinet....Highly recommended. * The Clarinet * More Clarinet Secrets appears, at first glance, to be a straightforward follow-up to Clarinet Secrets, but it is more than that: In its emphasis on practical advice for the more prosaic daily challenges that clarinetists face, it is a very different book-and arguably a superior one. ...
