This book uses a coaching philosophy which bridges the gap between student life, degree performance, employability skills and health and well-being by challenging the reader to ask 'how do I want my student experience to be, and what can I do to make it like that?'.

Will Medd has a PhD in Sociology and has worked in Higher Education for over 15 years. He is also a professional work and life coach (Associate Certified Coach with the ICF and CPCC with CTI) who specialises in coaching in Higher Education. In the last 5 years he has been developing coaching in the Higher Education context, initially with PhD students and now offering coaching to all involved in university life.
Together they wrote Your PhD Coach and run coaching programmes for universities across the country.
