Micah and the Magical Empty Box is the second book in the Magically Encouraging Books series. It is a chapter book with illustrations that tells the story of a quiet boy, Micah, whose mom just had his new baby brother. He has a wonderful family, but he still feels left out sometimes because of the baby. And now it's his tenth birthday and Grandma Ve is coming. She always brings lots of gifts. But this time, she brought only one big box. AND IT'S EMPTY! But it's MAGICAL! Through the magical empty box, Grandma Ve shows Micah the importance of sharing his feelings. He also learns that what you can't see may be most important, and that things aren't always as they appear. He learns that sharing your feelings with family, or a friend, is always helpful.
