Pranab, Gosh is a Scientist in Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Presently, he is Assistant Director (Computer Wing) at Proof and Experimental Establishment (PXE), Chandipur. After postgraduation in Computer Applications (MCA), he started his academic career at National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur. Among his other assignments he also undertook teaching in computer science subjects at Naval College of Engineering, INS Shivaji, Lonavala. He is also the co-author of Oracle Developer 2000: Basics to Implementation (published by PHI Learning). He specializes in software development and maintenance, project guidance, computer algorithms, data file structures, and programming languages.
Pranab Kumar, Das Gupta, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist in Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Presently, he is Additional Director in Computer and Communication Wing at Proof and Experimental Establishment, Chandipur. His expertise in development, execution and implementation of projects has immensely helped his organization. A large number of students have completed their project work under his guidance and have been placed in reputed industries and multinational companies. Dr. Das Gupta is also the author of three other books entitled Developing Web Applications Using ASP.NET and Oracle (second edition), Cloud Computing-based Projects Using Distributed Architecture and Oracle Developer 2000: Basics to Implementation, all published by PHI Learning, New Delhi.
