Masterful. Immersive. Fun. If you're looking for a book that will get kids excited about what words can do - this is it. This is the one. -- Rashmi Sirdeshpande This laugh-out-loud collection of poetry celebrates play in all its form * The Bookseller * Sam Gayton's first collection of poems scores high... A collection like this, reader-focussed and that places rollicking rhymes, riddles, wordplay and poems about school alongside thought-provoking poems that broaden readers' view of the world, is definitely a winner * LoveReading4Kids * These poems are unique, funny and a wonderful celebration of the fun it is possible to have with words * Armadillo Magazine * Witty and well observed... reframe[s] poetry as something interactive, energetic, and contemporary * Books for Keeps *More details

Person
Sam Gayton lives in Margate. In 2009 he completed the Writing for Young People MA at Bath Spa University and not long after published his first book, The Snow Merchant. He loves American novels, Italian food and the English countryside. When he's not writing, he likes playing old board games, strumming his guitar and joining as many rock bands as possible (currently at seven).
