Reading Alive!

A resource book for teachers and librarians, "Reading Alive" supports the national curriculum for English with a wide range of active strategies designed to promote reading and response through discussion, and to increase children's enjoyment of a variety of books. An extensive book list, suitable for 8-14 year olds, accompanies each activity and aims to stimulate all tastes, interests and abilities. Also included is resource and activity material which may be photocopied and distributed for classroom use.
