He wrote, produced and directed several short films and institutional films before embarking on comics. Born September 10, 1982, Joan Urgell showed an early passion for drawing. His parents made the decision to enroll him at the Joso School in Barcelona, a drawing academy where Joan spent four years. He has previously worked for Disney.
