GARFIELD, MD, is Associate Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, where he is also Professor of Psychiatry and Director of Residency Training. He is also Director of Outpatient Intake at the Mental Health Clinic of North Chicago V.A. Medical Center and Director of the center's Post--Traumatic Stress Disorder Clinic. A former clinical fellow in psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School Massachusetts Mental Health Center, Dr. Garfield is a board certified psychiatrist and a prolific presenter at professional conferences and conventions.
