Description
A collection of inspiring essays on Waldorf education from John Gardner, a respected voice in the movement.
While many of Gardner's insights are already well known in his established publications, In Light of the Spirit brings together his lesser-known essays. The essays are arranged across four topics: Societal Reform through Education, Pedagogical Perspectives, Waldorf Education in Practice and Spirit in Education.
Covering a broad range of areas from religion and science in the Waldorf school to teaching history from mythic to modern times, the art of teaching from the heart, and education and the environmental crisis, this is a rich and valuable resource for Waldorf teachers.
